browser — there is no RouteLab server. It is shared with CritLab and CrossLab.
You and the bike
For power targets in % of FTP and the time estimate. Shared with CritLab and
CrossLab, so changing them here changes them there too.
Units and map
Trail ratings come from OpenStreetMap through Overpass, which can take half a minute
for a new area; they are kept in this browser for a month.
Map tiles come from the OpenStreetMap community's servers; routes from
BRouter; elevation for
straight lines and imports from Open-Meteo;
place search from Nominatim. Each sees only the points it is asked about.
Turn cues
Off by default: most head units already say "bear left" from the line itself,
and a cue at every fork buries the ones that matter.
Routes are kept in this browser's IndexedDB, in RouteLab's own database.
Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Export a route as JSON to move it to another browser.
